This was not a good book. I don't like the way that it was written or the ending.

Uh...

What in the world did I just read? This book was awful.

Good but not her best

Meg Cabot is a brilliant writer. Her work is so good that u can't put he book down until you tear through each page and then itch to reread it. This book was a little too muck like Twilight except for the ending. It was a good book, worth reading, but not her best. I would suggest the mediator series and the 1-800 Where r u series.

Loved It!!!!

I could not put this book down! I loved that the book took place in the current times and made fun of the whole vampire fever thing we have going on right now. And I though that it was great that the main character was against promoting vampires. I think it was a great twist on the usual vamp story. I also appreciate that there were no werewolves. But all around just a great book!

Lacked Cabot's usual sparkle.

In the past I have enjoyed Meg Cabot's chick lit, and normally I find her characters quick witted and smart. This particular number was a disappointment. The plot lacked cohesiveness and as a result the prose lost it's way. Fair warning, though, I am one of those readers whole will throw out a book for

Ipaduser522

Awesome!! Buffy meets bella

Love how Cabot got her own twist to the whole vampire fever lol. Worth the read. Can't wait for the next book!

Insatiable

Granted, it was my fault, buying this book. One wrong click and the book was downloaded. So of course I felt compelled to read it, though every page made me despair that I could finish it. For vampire fans, it might be a passable read. For non-vampire fans, this book will be a painful ordeal. Readers of the latter category might at least find books such as "The Historian" by Kostova mildly entertaining and decently well written. Of Meg Cabot's foray into the genre of Vampire literature, I can only say, read it if you are a teenager, or a fan of Harlequin romances. This book is really no more than one of those cheap paperback novels that have no claim to a space on the bookshelves of any cerebrally inclined discerning reader.
